i write music because i find it beautiful. the music i create… i do so because it is something to experience. it is an accompaniment to my life, something which integrates but does not remove me from this world.
i do not know who listens to my music, nor do i know if anyone does at all. does this bother me? no, not horribly much. i am writing music to satisfy my own love and fascination. if anyone does listen to my music, does perform my music, and can find an experience in it, then i am rewarded with the knowledge my music was able to serve another.
these days i very much enjoy taking slow walks through the city, staring above me at the architecture of the buildings, pondering, amazed. i work during the day, and the nights are free for tea, reading, and music. i am very fond of living my life, and can not imagine that i will be regretting much in the future.

Your music is nice, but more importantly the attitude you have toward it is great. I stumbled upon your site while searching algorithmic music and enjoyed browsing your site. If you ever figure out what csound really is and whether it’s suitable for my purposes, I will look into your “blue.” I might also make use of your breathing program and advertise it in my Turkish blog (you make me wanna learn Java or any other programming language). We shared a few months in NYC (I moved there for a Ph.D. shortly before you moved away). Thanks for this nice site and resources again.
